On 07-08 July 2022, the 1^st Conference on Non-Destructive Testing in the Naval and Maritime Industry will take place at Villa Giustiniani-Cambiaso in Genoa. It is organized by Italian Society for Non–Destructive Testing Monitoring Diagnostics (AIPnD) in collaboration with the University of Genoa – DITEN Polytechnic School (Naval Center) and the Italian Institute of Welding (IIS).

During the event, of which CGM CIGIEMME S.p.A. is a Golden Sponsor, a paper will be presented by CGM engineer Giorgio Riolo who, after a brief historical excursus on Magnetic Particle Testing (covering both field inspection and tests carried out at the production facilities), will talk about the main magnetization and inspection techniques performed on large naval ship parts.
