Magisglow 22

General description

Magisglow 22 is a post-emulsifiable fluorescent penetrant with good penetration characteristics and with excellent resolution when detecting open surface discontinuity indications with dimensions detectable using a level 1 penetrant. This penetrant can be removed with a hydrophilic / lipophilic emulsifier, or solvent.

Rotrivel U Spray

Technical datasheet

General description

Spray version of the fast-evaporating, non-aqueous, non-halogenated solvent-based developer that creates an opaque white background for high-contrast inspection. The product’s high quality allows for a uniform and thin application which leads to reduced consumption of the penetrant. It can also be used to quickly check for “bleeding”, obtaining bright and clear indications. The developer is easily removable using the Velnet/Solnet product.

Velemulsior H2O Spray

General description

Spray version of the hydrophilic emulsifier used to emulsify the excess of post emulsifiable penetrants before final washing. This product is formulated to minimize the penetrant’s background on rough surfaces without increasing the risk of removing it from within the discontinuities.

Liquid Penetrant Comparator Block

Aluminum Sensitivity Test Block is used to verify the performance of the penetrant liquid at nonstandard temperatures. The block is made from 2024 aluminum and is 3” x 2” x 3/8” thick. A 1/8” wide groove separates the block’s two sides in order to facilitate side-by-side comparison.

Pair of Test Panel Nickel 10-20-30-50 Micron

A set of two panels made by plating a brass panel first with brittle nickel, then with chrome. The panels are approx. 1.5” (36 mm) in width and 4” (101 mm) in length, are machined from the same stock and have corresponding cracks. They are particularly effective in assessing the penetrant inspection system’s ability to detect surface discontinuities. It results to be very handy for simultaneous comparison of the penetrants from two batches. Sold in sets of two, with photographs.
